What is "ThermalTek® heating wire”?

ThermalTek® is a non-metallic heating fiber developed and patented by Petatech.  It has very high heat transfer efficency - up to 99%.  Most metallic heating elements are only at 70 - 80% efficient.  

ThermalTek® is water proof, washable, flexible and very durable.   It has passed UL tests which required it to be bent 55,000 times.
It works off safe low voltages, has low power consumption and does not emit electromagnetic radiation.
