What is F.I.R. Far Infrared Ray

Far Infrared Ray (FIR) is a spectrum of natural sunlight with a wavelength of 4 – 1000 microns.  It is invisible to the human eye.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) point out that wavelength of 6 – 14 microns of FIR can absorb radiant heat from the human body, then release the energy, which can penetrate human skin tissue to generate resonance. 

Independent Testing performed by Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, demonstrate the desirable 6 to 14 microns FIR radiation provided by our products.   FIR is not the same kind of heat you feel from a radiant heater which heats the skin first, it actually penetrates deep into the body.  Worn under a lifejacket, motorcycle leathers or a wetsuit it warms the core of the wearer.   Knee, elbow and back braces worn by sportspeople get warmth into the joint to the source of pain or stiffness.  FIR helps with pre sport warm up, accelerates metabolism and improves circulation.
